This is my eleventh year at Windsor school and my fourteenth year teaching Communications. Before this I taught high school students with learning disabilities and behavior disorders. I also taught overseas for the Department of Defense in Misawa, Japan, Okinawa and Naples, Italy. I have been teaching for thirty years and still love it.
I went to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign at first but then decided to go into special education so I transferred to Illinois State University. I received my Master's Degree from the University of Texas in Austin after completing a teaching assignment in San Antonio. I also have an Autism Certificate from Penn State University.
When not working I like gardening, bike riding, exploring the city and reading. I also spend a lot of time with my family and friends.
I also like to travel as much as I can in my spare time and have been to all the states and five continents.
